Out kitchen sale and installation services started back in 2009 in Toronto, Canada, where we had a small cabinet manufacturing shop. Since then, we created many partnerships and relations with multiple manufacturers of kitchen cabinets in Canada and in States.
With time we’ve seen a transformation of design, building materials, new technologies that now allow our clients to have a remarkable, modern and beautiful kitchen for a very reasonable amount of money! Moreover, with our inhouse assembly and production ability, we can save our clients thousands of dollars based on the created designs!
For clients who are not interested in replacing their kitchen, we can offer a kitchen upgrade by replacing countertops, backsplash and repainting cabinets. First question that comes to mind – how much would it cost to repaint the cabinets? In a regular 10′ kitchen it may cost from $3,500 to $5,000 depending on the condition and materials they are made of. This is just a labor cost! All the additional materials are extra, things like handles, new railings, etc. In some cases, refinishing of the kitchen does not make any financial sense. In most, a touch of new spray paint would change the entire room! Replacement of the doors and hardware but keeping the cabinets is also an option!
Replacement of backsplash on the same sized regular 10′ kitchen may be a costly endeavor! Here is why. First, we would need to remove the old tiles. Removal of backsplash tiles today runs for about $600 to $1500. We always try to keep the subsurface of the backsplash when removing the old tiles. In cases, where it is impossible, we would make a cut at top and bottom and knock the tile down together with the drywall. After we will replace the piece with a new waterproof board. That leads to an extra expense.
Installation of a new tile would run for between $11 and $60 per square foot to install. How much your installation will cost varies substantially, depending on the complexity of the install, as well as workarounds like electrical outlets, fixtures, and finishes. Variables to traditional prices might include patterns that require multiple cuts and those that are difficult to reach. For instance, tile that is harder to install, such as a paper-faced glass mosaic tile, will cost more in labor, as well as in additional material.
Regardless of complexity of the project, please feel free to reach out! We would love to sit down with you and create a plan that would actually work! We strive for excellence and quality of work. Please remember, that all of our clients who renovate their bathroom with us qualify for a 20% off labor cost of backsplash installation!
